The Gardens of Woodstock is more then just plants, it’s a destination. Creators Mike and Len Balleto had the dream, vision and drive to make this garden a reality. With over 35 years to date in the landscaping business, we made the jump from Roselle to Woodstock, our current location.

The Gardens began as a nursery to supply our landscaping business. As we enlarged our landscaping business we saw the need and opportunity to expand our offerings. Hence The Gardens was started.

The Gardens feature several waterfalls and ponds. The original waterfall was small with only a 3 foot drop and a small pond. Today when you take a walk through The Gardens you can see how our passion grew and evolved. The Gardens now includes 5 separate waterfalls. The two largest have over 5 foot drops and evoke serenity with the sound of falling water. You can identify two more by the sound of bubbling brooks and small catch ponds that cascade into a large pond.

Stroll our meandering brick walks and patios complemented by lush colorful landscaping. You will find many new and unusual plants that the we have sought out at unique nurseries throughout the United States.

Many of our patrons who have walked through The Gardens have stated “I feel like I am at the Chicago Botanic Gardens.” We are not nearly as large, but we like to think that we are beautifying the earth in the same way.
